Marjorie Spencer Obituary
Age 83, of Rochester, formerly of Dundee, NY, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at St. John's Home in Rochester. Honoring her wishes, there are no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday (June 4) at the Dundee Baptist Church, 20 Seneca Street, Dundee, with Rev. Anitra Price officiating. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, NY. She is survived by three sons, Richard D. (Janet) Spencer of Honeoye Falls, Mark L. Spencer of New Orleans, LA, Andrew P. (Leslie) Spencer of Honolulu, HI; six grandchildren, Honora (Justin) Miller of Phelps, Timothy Spencer of Rochester, Stephen Spencer of Pittsburgh, PA, Luke Spencer of Little Rock, AR., Frederick Spencer and Athena Spencer, both of Honolulu, HI; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Jackson Miller of Phelps; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Library Women's Study Club, 32 Water St., Dundee, NY 14837, or the Dundee Baptist Church, 20 Seneca Street, Dundee, NY 14837. Arrangements are by the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY.

We always had lots of fun going to Dundee and listening to the stories of growing up and the friendship my mom and Marjorie had. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Eleanor Jeannes daughter

Mrs. Spencer is one of the best school memories I have. Not only was she a great teacher, but she did more than teach. She reached out with her soft voice to ask how your day was going, she smiled all the way to her eyes, and though I have always missed her, I will miss her even more now. I hope she knew how deeply she touched so many lives.
