Dear Volini Family,
We all have such great memories of your dear mother, and your wonderful father as well. Our years of babysitting for you young people on Wayne and Lakewood, working on the aldermanic campaign, and just running into your mom to chat a couple times on Bryn Mawr, were all joyful episodes in our lives. We so agree that your parents really knew how to live life to the fullest, and shared that zest for life with so many of us. Now you five Volini "children" and your families are carrying on the wonderful legacy, and we know you'll continue to do a fabulous job of it! Love, The O'Reillys and Garcias

Marion will be missed by many people who crossed her path. What a great family she and Camilo brought up together. They are a lingering inspiration to the whole neighborhood and especially the St. Ita community. Elaine and I will keep you in our hearts and prayers.
Peace,
John & Elaine Clancy (Ita's 1968 - 1978)

Loved living across the street from Marion and Camillo. I can still picture Camillo wearing shorts in the middle of winter when he'd come out to get the paper in the morning, shouting howdy neighbor!. And, every Easter Sunday, Marion and Camillo would don their Derby hat and Easter Bonnet to go to church. They both lived life to the fullest!Mary and Mark Partridge

Dear Monica and Volini Family, I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I always found her to be a joy to be around, a leader and a role model, and I know she was an inspiration to my mother. Please accept my sincere condolence and well wishes to your family. Dear Monica, Marci, Mimi, David, and Mike. We are so sad to hear about your mom. We were at Drake this evening, but had to leave because Max's back was really causing him pain. We just want you all to know what you already know and that is what a wonderful friend and neighbor you mom was. She bounded across the street to help us unlock our front door the first time we entered our "new" home after the closing. All the memories have come flooding back, especially those wonderful block parties and the mornings after with the haze of fireworks still hanging over the street. Your folks were both amazing and they raised some amazing kids! Our love to all of you and your families. Sara and Max Overton

Dear Mike and family -- you have my deepest condolences. I met your mom on several occasions and she was always kind and welcoming. The last time she and I talked about tap dancing. This is a great loss, but I'm sure that your parents are glad to be reunited in heaven.
