Alvarez, Mario age 50, at rest June 10, 2009, of Norridge, Navy Veteran, loving son of Pablo and Maria Alvarez, dear brother of Robert Alvarez, Paul Alvarez, Raul (Veronica) Alvarez, Rosa (Alex) Alvarez-Khamharn, and the late Ricardo Alvarez, beloved nephew of Maria McHugh, fond uncle and great-uncle of many, loving cousin, and dear friend to many. Funeral Saturday, 8:30 a.m. from Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
