To the family of Marie Wertelka,

We were very sorry to hear the news that your Mother had passed away. We are down in Florida for two months or we would definitely have attended her wake and funeral. When she married Ray Wertelka we were so happy to have her in our family. She was a wonderful person and we liked her very much. We had planned to get together with her recently, but something always came up. We are very sorry that we won't have the chance now. Our deepest sympathies.

Wishing the entire family my deepest sympathy at this time... I am so disheartened that I could not make it up there to offer my support in person. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers, and so is "Grandma" for a wonderful eternal life! She will be truly missed.

Dear Marty & Family.
My deepest sympathy to you and your
family on the loss of your mother.
Her and I became re-aquainted at
the Arena Bowl. (She was a great
bowler). Of course, we had a lot to discuss seeing we had the two
boys in common, you and RJ.
She was a very kind, lovable person.

Dear Sandy and Family,
I was truly sorry to hear the news of your Mother's sudden passing on Sunday. Your MOM so reminded me of my Mother and I'm so glad that the two of them were able to enjoy each others company during their time in Palos. When I think of your Mom, I will always remember her smile, her hard working spirit, her organizational skills, her need to get everything clean and her ability to have fun and enjoy herself. The two of you shared that special bond that only a Mother and daughter can. She was so proud of you and adored your children. Cherish the memories! Please find comfort in knowing that she was LOVED by so many and will always be remembered in our prayers.

Love you,

Barbara J. Baumhart

Marie was a wonderful person to work with...smart, funny and always so considerate. She welcomed me so warmly during my first days on my new job, answering my questions, inviting me to join the group for lunch, even getting me a chair to sit on when I didn't want to intrude. Every time she saw me, she'd ask me about the little details of my life, my car, my family, etc. Marie and Irene were always so much fun together. They made busy time at Moraine a chance to enjoy a fun reunion with friends while working hard. Marie will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to her family and to Irene.
