Marie Merriweather Obituary

I knew Marie only briefly and she always greeted me daily at City Hall, or on the streets with a hello and a smile. I will miss her.



My thoughts go out her son, family and realatives.

To the Merriweather Family, Marie was a wonderful and talented person who I feel blessed to have known. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Rest in sweet peace, Soror Merriweather.

To Kyle and the entire Merriweather family. "Choo Chee" had such a generous spirit. Was such a great Mom, daughter, sister. You are in our prayers. The Whitfield and Sykes Family - Ruby, Rosemary, Jennifer.

Ms. Merriweather was a great person, and will be missed very much. I always felt at home around her, she was like a close relative to me. Thinking back to when Kyle and I were little, I remember at football, soccer, and baseball games, etc. even since we were five, I always saw her and my mom on the sidelines cheering us on. Her very cheerful and caring personality is what I will miss most about her. Its still hard to grasp the concept of her not being here, but it is a very sad reality. My condolences to Kyle and his family during this very difficult time. To Kyle, you know I'll always be here for you, because your're like a part of my family, and you are always welcome to come by at anytime. Kyle, your mother was a very beautiful person and I am honored to have known her. I am very sorry for your loss.

Kyle, Eugene and I are so sorry that you lost your mother. From the time you were in kindergarten I could see how devoted your mother was to you. Your mother was a great woman who gave society a great gift, you! God bless you and your family.
