Dear Salvatore and family,
I was sorry to hear about your mom's death. I had spoken with her briefly months ago and knew she was not doing well. Your Aunt Margie had given me her phone number and yours as well because I am researching our family tree. My parents, Anthony and Catherne Basso, were visiting here when Mary Lou e-mailed me the sad news. My dad and your mom were first cousins. We called your Aunt Margie right away but we did not have your address to send a sympathy card. My mom ended up in the hospital here but after a month my parents are back in Illinois now. I spoke once with your wife months ago and plan to call again. With sympathy, Judy Basso
