Marie Desmarais Obituary

Cumberland- Marie Rose "Mae" Desmarais 82 formerly of Flat St. and Manville died Thursday at the Ozark Medical Center, West Plains, Mo. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Desmarais.

Born in Manville a daughter of the late Wilfred and Marie (Leclerc) Laliberte. She lived in Cumberland for four years and lived in Manville for seventy - seven years.

She was a stock room clerk for the IDS Company Lincoln retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. James Church Manville and a member of the Amvets, Woonsocket.

She leaves one daughter Irene Souza of Rose Hill, NC, two sons Roger A. Desmarais of Isabella, Mo. and Gerard P. Desmarais of Warwick, one sister Doris St. Onge of Manville, one brother Leo Laliberte of Woonsocket, one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was the sister of the late Armand Laliberte.

Her funeral will be on Monday from the Roy Funeral Home 1 Bouvier Ave. Manville at 9am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. James Church Division St. Manville at 10am. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
