Marian Allison Obituary

Funeral services for Marian Allison, 77, Moline, are 11 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is two hours prior to the funeral at the church. Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Church. Mrs. Allison died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Marian Ware was born July 11, 1929, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Stella (Keefe) Ware. Marian graduated in 1947 from United Township High School, East Moline. She married Milo Allison, September 13, 1947. Mrs. Allison had worked as a dietician and cook at the former Lexington House in East Moline for 13 years. Marian was a loving wife and mother. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to mourn her loss are her husband of 59 years, Milo; sons, Steve, of Princeton, Iowa, Craig, of Anderson, S.C., and Kevin, of Moline; grandsons, Boone, Tobin, Whitney and Carlin; a great-grandson, Bryce; and nieces and nephews, Brenda Woods, Fulton, Connie Shepherd, Clinton, Iowa, Jim Ware, Salem, Ore., Sandra Rusk, Geneseo, Tom Ware, Silvis, and Ted Ware, Colona.
