Maria Kiss Obituary

Dear Suzanne,
It is so hard to believe that a year has gone by since Maria went up to a more wonderful "vacation home" than any of us has ever seen!

I'm sorry we won't be able to join you tonight for the celebration of Maria's great spirit.

The photo in the paper caught my eye. I was saddened to hear of Maria's passing. Although I directly worked with Maria at the Hyatt for a short 6 months, her wisdom and kindness was a great influence on me. She taught me the basics of being a good manager, just by saying hello in passing works wonders.

I am praying for you and for the soul of your wonderful partner, Maria. I never had the privilege of knowing her well, but I remember with fondness her friendliness, her smile and her great sense of humor.

Maria was one of the most wonderful, generous people I personally ever knew in my life. She was always happy and the life of the party. Maria you will be greatly missed! We all love you.

God rest Maria's soul in his heavenly mansions..Everlasting be her memory!!

Maria was a wonderful person, forever she will be remembered in our hearts. What a great friend she was to my sister, Dawn Connolly, and all of our family.

During my 20 years at the Hyatt, Maria and I laughed and cried through the emotional ups and downs of our lives. She was so supportive when I found out that my brother was dying of AIDS, and a great listener as I told her all about him. On the day I got the phone call at work that his time was short, and I would have to leave immediately for Hawaii (where he lived), there was Maria - she came to me in the restaurant kitchen with a pair of slippers "to wear on the long plane trip". That simple act of kindness was just one of many reasons that I've never forgotten Maria.
