Ira/Lynn. So sorry to hear the passing of your Mom. Your folks were very close with my Grandparents. I have very warm memories, but one in particular stands out. We were at Abe and Mabel's apartment on Hamilton Ave and your folks had given me a present of a Superman costume. I don't remember the occasion, but that was one of the top 10 presents I ever received. Also, in the later '60's when they stopped minting silver coins, your Mom would split the silver change from the store with Mabel. I was the recipient of Mabel's share of the silver coins, which I still have, by the way, as part of a long neglected coin collection. It's nice to have such happy remembrances.
