Margie Hinrichs Obituary

Hinrichs (Matheson), Margie age 81, of Osseo, died peacefully at her home with her family at her bedside. Preceded in death by husband, Gordon "Gordy" on 1/28/06; parents, William and Esther Matheson; brothers, Lester and Wilbur Matheson. She was a former charter member of the Osseo Lioness and Osseo American Legion Auxiliary. Owner of Hinrichs Dept. Store, Margie's Lunch Wagon and Lyndes Cafe in Osseo. She loved attending auctions with her husband Gordy, collecting music boxes, quilting, travel and music. She is well known for her wonderful laugh. Her eyes will be donated to the Lions Eye Bank per her request. She is survived by her children, Darlene (Jerry) Germann, Terre (Ronald) Harff and Rick (Lois) Hinrichs; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Vivian (Norm) Person and Laurel (Gary) Stendlund; brothers, Don (Vivian), Wendell (Betty Lou) and Leland (Marge) Matheson; sisters-in-law, Eljane and Verna Matheson; and many other extended family and friends. Services 11:00 AM Friday at the Osseo United Methodist Church, 16 2nd Ave SE in Osseo. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE in Osseo. Legion Auxiliary Service 6:00 PM. Prayer service 7:00 PM Thursday. Reviewal at church one hour prior to service. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Osseo Lions Band Shell, Osseo Methodist Church or Hospice of the Twin Cities. Evans-Nordby 763-424-4000

We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Margie. She will be missed by so many and our sympathies to Darlene, Terre, and Rick and their families.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Margie so close to the passing of Gordy. They are meant to be together here and in heaven that much is clear. Love is never ending, they will be continuig where they left off and be healthy and happy forever.
