Rose and family - I was greatly saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. I have fond memories of our years growing up in Moscow. We didn't have many opportunities to visit in our adult years, but did enjoy the few times that we did get together. I especially enjoyed the last time when I was able to visit with the whole family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Margie threw my sister. When I decided to get married, Margie said she would make my dress. She took time out of her busy schedule in 2002 to go with me to pick out a pattern, material, ect,in no time she had it made and it was beautiful, I felt like a queen.I was always greatful to her for making my wedding day special. She was a great woman & loved by many. She had a heart of gold. She will be missed.I was so lucky to have known her .Lyn Wenzel

Nick, I was so sorry to read about your mom, and my heart goes out to you and your family. Losing a parent so young is very difficult - I know because my dad died suddenly in 2004. Take comfort in your memories and cherish your own children like nothing else on earth, so that your mother may live forever.

I met Margy in graduate school in 1986. Being her friend for twenty years and her business partner for three hardly qualified me as a long time friend in comparison to others! She was the center of a world she built that consisted of overlapping circles of family, friends, neighborhood and community and I am grateful for all that I learned from her - especially about commitment. But mostly I am grateful to have loved her. My heartfelt love and sympathy to Doug, Nick & Stefani (& Co.), Rose, Susie & Ron, and Meridel.

What a beautiful, joyful and courageous spirit! Who knew dedication and hard work could be so much fun! She still lives on in her own accomplishments and in the continuing work of those she inspired.

Margy was a hero and inspiration to all who knew her. She was more than an advocate for children, she was a tireless teacher and role model for effective cheerful community organizing. Every one of us who has been touched by her life, and that includes everyone who has ever been on or will be on MinnesotaCare, owes her a deep debt of gratitude.
