Margaret Seaman Obituary

Margaret A. Seaman, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Born: She was born November 21, 1921 in Bethlehem; one of eight children to the late Joseph and Frances (Kneiss) Ammend. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Seaman in 1973. Personal: Margaret worked as a secretary for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. prior to marriage and later worked as a secretary in the Psychology Dept. at Lehigh University from 1971-1989. She enjoyed painting, gardening and reading. Margaret was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Survivors: She dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her children, William; Jonathan and his wife Virginia K.; Mary Ann and her husband Edward Nickles all of Bethlehem; Anita and her husband Daniel A. Barrick of Phillipsburg, NJ and Anthony of Bethlehem; as well as her grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Stephanie, Edward, Margaret and Alexander and two great grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas. Services: Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the chapel at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor.
