Margaret Puglisi, 78, of Keansburg, NJ, died on August 21, 2016 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY. She was born in Miami, FL to the late William E. and Anna Nesbitt and moved to Keansburg as a young girl where she lived the majority of her life. Many years ago Margaret worked for the local phone company and Two Guys / Vornado in Middletown. More recently she retired from United Counties Trust Co / Wells Fargo in Keansburg, and Gold Button Jewelers in Middletown. But she always said her favorite job was as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Margaret was a long time parishioner of St. Ann's Parish in Keansburg and she also volunteered as a CCD teacher there. She enjoyed going to the movies, meeting with the RBC "Lunch Bunch," shopping, and spending time with her dear family and friends.

Surviving are her three daughters, Barbara L. Puglisi, Peggy Mazza, and Jeanie Capatasto and her husband, Edward; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Anne Michele Puglisi; her grandchildren, Brittney, Nicole, Lindsay, Juliana, Robert, and Gianna; her great-grandchild, Amelia Rae; her two sisters-in-law, Joyce Salayi and Joanne Nesbitt; her two brothers-in-law, Ralph Puglisi and his wife, Susan, and Billy Puglisi; and her lifelong friends, Edward and Joann Palmer.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 57 years, Robert A. Puglisi; her brother, William Hall; her sister, Anne Pelose; and her brother, William Nesbitt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11 am at St. Ann's RC Church, Carr Ave., Keansburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
