Margaret Loftus Obituary

Loftus, Margaret Mary a Plainfield resident since 1998, age 65, died January 25, 2004. She was born June 28, 1938 in Chicago. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, John P. Loftus, II; her children, Karen (Ed) Zydek and John P. III; her six grandchildren, Mike Lennhardt, Tom, Jack and Ryan Zydek, Joey Fekech and John Loftus IV all of Plainfield; her sisters, Carol (Bill) Lewis and Maureen (Roger) Eder, both of Chicago and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Brankin and a bother, James Brankin. Margaret grew up in Chicago's Canaryville and Brighton Park Neighborhoods and was employed for many years at Holy Cross Hospital. Prayers will begin Wednesday, January 28th, 10 a.m., from the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (corner of Rte. 30 & 59) Plainfield and proceed to a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 129 S. Division (Rte. 59), Plainfield. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 500 N.
