(1943-2014)
Our beloved Manuela A. Lopez, age 71, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
She is preceded in death by parents Vicente and Trenidad Almendarez and brother Alvaro Almendarez.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by her loving husband Raul R. Lopez Sr.; children Juan Carlos Lopez, Raul Lopez Jr. (Jennifer Annette), Sergio Lopez (Rosie), Criselda Lopez, Oswaldo Lopez, Arturo Lopez (Jennifer D.); siblings Andres Armendarez, Paz Rodriguez, Paulina Elizondo, Maria Alejo, Jose Armendariz, Roy Almendarez, and Joel Almendarez; 14- grandchildren and 7- great grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Mission Funeral Home Remembrance. Chapel 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East). Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1206 East Ninth Street. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family I grew up with everyone of you all and I would like to say you're mother will be missed by many. She was a wonderful
loving women to everyone. I would just like you all to remember "When God looked around his garden and found an empty space then He looked down upon this earth and saw her tired face. He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest , God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best" May you rest in peace.( Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Our mother Delfina Arriaga Godoy and family extend their prayers to you during this time of loss. I knew your Mom thru my mother Delfina because she always took her clothes repairs to you mom.
