Magnolia Davis Obituary

Davis, Magnolia 82, of Zion, passed on November 22, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born in Red Level, Alabama on June 4, 1930, she was the daughter of Willie and Laura Morgan, who both preceded her in death. She was the loving mother of Joseph Davis of Chicago, James (Alicia) Harris of Grayslake, Illinois, Andre (Karen) Harris and Ralph Harris, both of Nebraska;, Eric (Carissa) Harris of Denver, Colorado, Brenda Davis and Annie (Ardell) Harris-Ellis both of Chicago, Illinois; stepmother of Cynthia Fortune and Bryant West; loving sister of Mack Morgan of Chicago, Illinois and James Willie Morgan of Detroit, Michigan; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Laura Morgan; a daughter, Lisa Ruff; grandson; Corey Curry; three brothers, Oliver and Frank Morgan; Lucius Jackson; two sisters, Luella Cash; Luna Bell Oda. Funeral Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 3801 South Wabash Ave., Chicago. Visitation, 10:00-11:00 A.M. Info: 815-968-5313 or www.advantagerockford.com. My Family and I are sorry for your loss. Magnolia was a very nice and caring lady.We know her from the nursing home.She had a beautiful smile all the time. She will be missed by all. May GOD Bless you all at this time of saddness.
