Magdalene Zimmerman Obituary

Aunty Maggie,
I will miss you. As you are now on the path to join the others who have gone before you, I take comfort in knowing that you are now finally at rest. I trust that Uncle Ted, Wally, Dad and Andy were all waiting with open arms. I hope that they were there to show you the way.

I'm sorry that we were not able to come into town and bring my mom to see you one last time. I know that she was upset every time she looked over an asked about your notice from the paper I printed out for her. It was the first time hearing the news, every time she heard it.

As for me, I'll keep memories of looking over on the front porch and yelling to you that you really shouldn't be washing those windows. Or going over to check on you, and catching the dogs as they tried to sneek in to see you too. Or just to use the phone to call next door because mom and dad locked the front door and I was locked out.

I love you Aunty and I'll miss you.

I will always remember Aunt Magdalene's sweet smile.

Mrs. Zimmerman was such a nice and special lady, she will be missed. It was always fun to go to the Zimmerman's house. They always treated me like part of the family. I remember Mr. Z as being a "Peter Pan" and Mrs. Z "with a sparkle in her eyes the straightman." Such a devoted couple you could see it in the way they looked at each other.
They believed in God, had good values and their family always came first. They were such a good example of what a marriage should be. Mr. Z. passed away years ago but you knew he was always with her. I can only believe that Mr. Z was with her every step of the way guiding her to eternity's door. Now they they are finally where they should be "TOGETHER."
I will remember them always.
