Gold, Madelyn (nee Edelstein), age 86, of Niles, beloved wife of the late Norman "Red", loving mother of Sharon Gold and Larry Gold, cherished sister of Bernice (late Harry) Rose, Gloria (Marshall "Mendy") Portnoy, and the late Raymond (late Mildred) Edelstein, treasured aunt of Louis (Wendy) and Dawn Portnoy, Larry (Susan), Ellen (Steve Sanders) and Stuart Rose, Bobbi Gold, Nancy Aaronson and Eileen (David) Winterfeldt and their children. Graveside service Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand and Wilke Rds, Arlington Heights. Dear Sharon and Larry,
So sorry to hear of your loss. May you find solace in knowing that the thoughts and prayers of many are with you.

Sharon: I am deeply sorry for the loss of your dearest mother. I loved her and she always made me smile. She was beautiful, witty and a class act. I always enjoyed her humor and our talks when she came to Old Country Buffet with her friends. May God bless her and give her eternal peace. My prayers are with her. God bless you all.......
