M. Iler Obituary

ILER, M. June of Essexville, Michigan. Passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at her home at the age of 88. The daughter of the late August and Eva (Hammond) Roemer, June was born June 6, 1922 in Bay City. She resided in Essexville most of her life where she was employed at the Bay Medical Care Facility prior to her retirement. June loved sewing, bingo, and travel; she will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters: Lois and Mike LaForest, Janet and Mike Klopp, and Connie and Bill Iler; two grandchildren, Lisa and Justin Zimbliss and Scott and Nanette LaForest and three great-grandchildren: Ryan Cope, Jordan Zimbliss and Katie Zimbliss. Besides her parents, June was preceded in death by two sisters, Eileen and Helen Roemer. The Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home East with burial to follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from noon until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Salvation Army or the Shriner's Children's Hospitals.
