Lynn Hall Obituary

Hall, Lynn Ellis was born to the late Calvin J. and Ethel Wright Hall on January 3, 1947 in Athens, Louisiana. He passed away on April 30, 2004 after a lengthy illness. He confessed Christ at an early age in Homer, Louisiana at St. John Baptist Church. He married Emmaline Lewis of Jeanerette, Louisiana; and to this union was born a son, Kevin Ellis Hall. Later he moved to Chicago where he met and married Marva Beverly; and to this union was born a son, Jonathan Jackson Hall. He was a graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge and University of Illinois, Chicago. Lynn was also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Lynn loved his family, reading current events, politics, civil rights advocacy, and sports. A Social worker by profession; he was employed by Habilitative Systems Inc., Chicago, as a Foster Care Supervisor when he became ill in 1996. Service Friday, May 7th 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Homer, Louisiana. Info., 318-927-2439.
