Kubetz, Lyle P. predeceased in death by his loving wife, Lorraine; his parents, Florence and Adolph and his brothers, Arthur and Adolph Jr. Dad's words of wisdom and cherished memories will live on with his children, Susan (Martin) Hendrickx, Janet (Philip) Dell and Bruce (Caroline) Kubetz; his grandchildren, Mark, Steven and Heather Hendrickx, Michael, Greg (Eva), Gaye (Steve Lan), Danielle (Michael Odom) and Denise Dell, Michael, Jennifer and Ryan Kubetz and his great-grandchildren, Steven Lan, Shawn, Matthew, Kimberly and Andrea Odom, Elizabeth and Michelle Dell, loving brother of Laverne (Don) Thumel, fond brother-in-law of Betty (Ken) Kula, treasured uncle and friend to many. As a WWII veteran with the Army's 346th Signal Co. Wing, he received several decorations and citations. Though not remembered as the "quietest" fisherman on the lake, Dad, you are sure to catch your big muskie in Heaven. WE LOVE YOU!! Give Mom a Huge Hug!! Funeral Saturday, 9:30 a.m., from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to Queen of All Saints Basilica for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. Thank you for all of the wonderful years Grandpa. Not only were you Grandpa, but also a great friend, and I will never forget the many, many fun times we had and all the stories you shared. Say Hi! to Grandma for me and I will see you again someday. I love you and thank God for having known you!
