Lydia Yokiel Obituary

I will always remember the kind caring help I received from Sister Lydia Mary while attending Resurrection High School. I was truly fortunate to attend Resurrection High School ( unfortunately for only one year) and to receive her caring gentle guidance.

On the anniversary we remember Sr. Lydia Mary with prayers and thoughts. The candle has been lit in memory of her.

"A Life Well Lived"! A remarkable Life's Journey as sister touched so many of us in the formative teen years while at St. Casimir. Truly a servant of God; and now blessed with being forever in His loving arms. Heart tugs looking back! (Class of 1959)

Dearest Family of Sister Lydia Mary, Please accept sincere condolences at this time of sadness. She was a very good principal at St. Casimir School and lived a long life teaching good classes to her students. She has now joined all the Sisters of the Congregation of the Resurrection religious order in heaven who also were my teachers and mentors in life. God bless. Respectfully submitted, Pauline V. Sister Lydia was a dear friend of our Aunt, Sister Mary Camille. We remember her fondly as we grew up with the Sisters of the Resurrection. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and wit.

Worked with Sister Lydia at Our Lady of Ree. For over 20 yrs. what a privilege it was. Sister was an inspiration to all plus a great friend. She surely will spread her kindness and sense of humor, with all her friends in Heaven.. R.I.P. Betty Bialk

Sister Lydia Mary is now with all the other angels in Heaven! Sister was my principal at St. Thecla in the late 1960's. Educators such as Sister Mary Celeste and Sister Lydia Mary helped to make the the person I am today.Thank you Sister Lydia Mary for everything!
