To Aunt Lu,
I was deeply saddened by your sudden illness and passing. My prayers go out to all your family. I know that these last years you and my father have been very close and I know my dad already misses you so much. I remember the times when grandma and I would take the train from Houston to Chicago to come visit you. I think it was the first time, I saw snow. What a great time I had! As the years passed, I would see grandma in you. We all loved spending time with you and laughing so much, till we were all crying. You will truly be missed.
Love,
Mary Ann (Parrish) Williams

What sweet fun memories I have my Aunt Lupe. Coming to Houston, sitting around talking, so wise in her words. I loved the way her and my Dad(Oscar)could read each other. I loved her outlook and spin on things! I know this isn't goodbye forever and we'll all be together again in Heaven one fine day.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Lou's passing. She has always held a special place in our hearts; She was an Aunt, a confidante, a friend, and someone who was always there to share in the good times, the bad, the happy and the sad. Our frequent phone calls will be missed more than words can express.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Bo, her children, Aunt Bea, Uncle Roy, Oscar and the many whose lives she touched.
May we all find comfort in the memories that are ours to cherish always....
You will be forever missed Aunt Lou..
We love you

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Our thoughts and prayers to all the family of Lou Costabile and the Martinez family. Couldn't wait for Aunt Lou to come to Houston for visits. We all gathered at Aunt Bea's house for fun and laughter. Listened to all her jokes and stories, we laughed and enjoyed and loved her very much. She will be dearly missed by all and she will now be watching over us. She will be our Guardian Angel. You will always be in our hearts because as long as we keep you there your memory will live forever.
Love you,
John and Nora Martinez

Lupe was such a wonderful neighbor. She was always there to offer helpful advice and share a story or two. She never complained but was more concerned about how the other person felt. She will be missed by all -- especially me as during the summer I always looked for her on the porch and would beep at her on my way to do errands.
