As a artist/ author lucius had a powerful impact on how I veiw art.He was a leader at SAIC . A real mover and shaker. He was a brilliant artist that strived for a 'new' way of looking at the world.
On page 47 of my non- fiction book: Being and Homelessness: Notes from an Underground Artist I mention Lucius: " A friend and fellow student at the school, Lucius Armstrong, would say, " John, see that piece of paper on the floor? That's art!"
I will always cherish the friendship I had with Lucius.
