Like my sister, Loretta, I met Brownie at Olive Ridge. It was a true joy to vist with Brownie as I visited my Mom, Mary Mallak. My Mom's favorite sentence is Your're Special or that's special. Brownie often heard that from Mom. May you know Brownie was special to us. Janet Mallak,SSND

I met Brownie at Olive Ridge when my mother (Mary) moved into the facility. Brownie was a source of strength and encouragement to mom as she adjusted to the move from her home to a care facility. I’ve enjoyed many conversations with Brownie over the years and will miss her wit and insight. My deepest sympathy to her family.
