Sydney, Marlene and Willa, how saddened I am to read of your mom's passing, and so sorry to have missed these services. I last saw your mom at our home here in Lincolnwood when she paid us a visit during the "shiva" for my mom, just a few years ago....and, your mom was so instrumental to our daughter when she was a start-up in the real estate business. But my memories of your mom and dad go back to Michiana Shores where we were so fortunate to spend languid days together, I just a kid of 14 or so, so many years back. We of course recall so vividly your grandparents, our auntie Kate and uncle Will...they were our life force, and we recollect too you kids just taking shape in those days. My grandmother Volchenboum took heart and sustenance with her relationship with auntie Kate, her sister-in-law, and her brother, Will, and later, my aunt Bessie, too, remainded so close to your mom as the years passed. And so it goes...please accept our heartfelt condolences at this time in your lives....the others before us have said it so well...you were the lucky ones, indeed. Warren and Debra Volchenboum
