To the Iglitzen Family:

I just learned of the death of Gert. I know that we have not been in touch for such a long time, but I have thought alot about her and your family. She was a special person, and meant alot to my father, and to me when I was growing up. I have always admired her and had the utmost affection and respect for her. She was a person with a distinct and strong personality, and indeed one of the few people whom my father would listen to. She was truly a special person. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences.
