LUCILE ELIZABETH COULTER RANSOM "BETH" Lucile Elizabeth Ransom, born Lucile Elizabeth Rose, went to be with our LORD on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015. Beth was born August 14, 1939, in Chico, California, to Laverne and Weltha Rose. Beth graduated Eureka High School and attended Chico Beauty College. Beth later went on to become a landlord for many properties in the Chico area. Beth's family dates back to the 1800's in the Chico and Richvale area with her Grandfather Chester Rose. Beth was an avid member of the Eagles Aerie 218, loved NASCAR, football and bowling. Beth is survived by her two sons David and Stanley Savage, both of Chico, her brother Larry Rose, her sister Joanne, daughter Dorie, grandchildren Ryan and Josie; and longtime friend "Uncle" Roy Stivers. Beth was married to Jerry Coulter of Coulters Transfer and Storage. Beth was previously married to Randy Ransom, bartender of famous landmark Town Lounge in Chico. Memorial services for Beth will be held at the Eagles Hall Chapter 218, 1940 Mulberry Street, Chico, California on Saturday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Affordable Mortuary.
