Lucile Bruce Obituary

Mrs. Lucile Daniel Bruce, 82 of LaGrange passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Hospice LaGrange. She was born in Heard County, and was the daughter of the late Isaac Benjamin and Minnie Cavender Daniel. Mrs. Bruce was a member of the East Vernon Baptist Church. She was a retired inspector with Playtex International.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and David Arrington of LaGrange, a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathy Bruce of LaGrange; Grandchildren, Keith Tompkins, Jan Marie Rowe, and Kaylee Bruce; a brother and sister in law, Denson and Elzie Daniel of Bowden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Byron Bruce and a grandson Daniel Bruce.

The funeral services for Mrs. Lucile Daniel Bruce will be held at 2:00 Monday at East Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Don Ellison officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathy Bruce at 200 Woodfield Circle, and will receive friends at the funeral home this afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00.
