Lucia Corvino Obituary

LUCIA M. CORVINO Went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2007. She was born on May 22, 1930 in Naples, Italy. Survived by her sons, Cloyd Shetter of Napa, Charles Shetter of Jamestown and daughter, Elvira Marshall of Oakland, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers, Gino and Franco Corvino; sisters, Angelina Catapano and Delia Corvino from Naples, Italy, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her beloved parents and sister, Adriana. She resided in Alameda County over 45 years, selling real estate for the last 18. She touched many lives with her heart and was a friend to many. A presentation and Rosary will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Rosary begins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12th. A Catholic service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 13th at Saint Joseph Basilica, 1109 Chestnut, Alameda. All wishing to attend are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Saint Jude's Hospital for children's leukemia research or the Tad fund at Saint Joseph's High School.
