As we get older, more and more time slips away from us. And it seems like it goes by faster and faster with each passing year. Dad passed last year. Not sure if Grandpa Joe, Uncle Sam and mom are all with him. Mom and dad didn't talk much about God. I'll find out one day when I go home. Now, all of my family is gone. I have a wonderful family of my own. A beautiful wife, five children and one granddaughter. We are expecting a grandson in May. God has blessed me with a beautiful family. I so often miss the holidays that we shared together. Every year, I looked forward to going to Chicago to see you and many other family members. Back then, most of our family lived up in that part of the country. We were there a week at Thanksgiving and a week at Christmas for many years. I have so many wonderful memories of the trips there. I remember you loved your family so much. I loved being there every year. You were a wonderful and loving woman. I pray you all are together in Heaven and one day I will see you all again. The month of March is not a good month for me. I have lost so many friends and family during that month. I miss you dearly, my mom and dad not so much. Which breaks my heart. I have learned some hard truths after they both passed. Until we meet again. Love you Stacy.

Mom, I can hardly believe a year has past...sometimes it seems like yesterday we were together. I think of you every day, sometimes with a smile, other times with tears. You were my "best" friend and truly a wonderful lady, a terrific role model. I will always love you, always miss you. You will be in my heart forever. If only I can be half the woman you were. My grandma was my heart and my love. She devoted her entire life to her family and the children of others. She has touched so many peoples lives that it is hard to keep track of them all. I will miss her beautiful smile and the way she could make anything bad for me better. She was a true saint and had the patience of Jobe and we are all going to miss her. My happy memories of us going shopping on Saturdays, walking me to the bus stop, and all the others will stay in my heart and thoughts everyday. My little angel has finally got her wings. I miss and love you so very much gram:)

Aunt Louise was always so special. She was always full of life and my memories of her will always stay in my heart. I didn't see her very much in the last 20 years but she and the rest of the family have always been in my heart and prayers. Seems like when you are growing up and raising a family you lose contact with distant family. Now that I am older and still able to go I hope to keep in contact with family that I have neglected for years now. I do love my extended family and hope for us all to get to know one another better. I know Aunt Louise would like for us all to stay close. There are only 2 of her siblings left with us. We need to all enjoy each other more. My love goes to all of the family!!!!!!!!!!!

If ever there was an angel on earth, it was Mom. She was a warm hug, a welcoming smile, a bright ray of sunshine. A kind, loving soul who never spoke ill of anyone, never turned down anyone in need. Mom, my "bestest friend" - many warm, happy memories play over & over in my heart & mind. I love you & I miss you so very much, but I know you are at peace now with "Raggs", Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Martha, Uncle Bo and the rest of the family.

Nancy, I know how much your Gram meant to you and I'm so sorry for your loss. We extend our condolences to you, your Mom, and your entire family. From what I've learned from you and from talking to your Gram, she was one of the greatest ladies in the world! (And, she was funny as hell too!....she really was.) No matter what, she will be in your hearts forever and your memories of her (although they may make you sad at times) will comfort you every time you think of her. You loved each other that much. And she loved ALL of you that much......everyone saw that everyday of her life (that was apparent tonight) and you are very blessed. Our prayers are with you and our prayers are with your Gram. Love you and take care Nancy (and your family too) God Bless. Vicki & All
