Our condolences to Lou's family on his passing. It was a privilege knowing him and spending 4 years together in Deaconate formation, and was proud to be ordained along with him in the class of 1997 for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Lou's passing. He was a wonderful man who did many kind deeds without anyone knowing. He was a great friend that shared our spring training tickets for a few seasons and he was a pleasure to sit with and watch him yell at all the MLB players for a baseball that he would then give to a little boy or girl that was sitting close by. He was a good man and an even better friend. You are in our thoughts and prayers Lou and we know you are watching over us in a greater place and reaping the rewards for your unselfishness and kindness to others. Rest in peace friend.
