Hi Dads! I think of you so often. We had so many special moments during the years you lived with us...lots of laughs! Yesterday was the day Mom was born into eternity with you. Don't drive her crazy, huh? She's a fabulous human being and I know you are well aware of that fact. You're pretty fab yourself, Dads! Love you oodles.....Rachie xoxox

Hi Dads! I've been thinking of you a lot lately. I guess since Christmas time. Joey quite frequently asks about you and needs reinforcement that you're not coming back. He knows but just asks,I think in case my answer changes??? It's really rather cute! You'd be proud that little Joe! He tested very well this past month! I know that would warm your heart. Love you oodles Daddy!.....rachie xoxoxox

Hi Papa,

Well, it's been 7 months today since you were born into eternity. It's been a rough day for me. I sure miss you Dadsworth. We created such a special bond you and I. I'm so glad we had those special years together. We sure did get to bond somethin' fierce in that time, didn't we?! I wish your time on earth could have been more peaceful. But I know I was able to make it more peaceful particularly for the end...and for that I am SO thankful! Like I told you, I needed you just as much as you needed me. It was a two way street, that is for certain. Talk to you soon and I love you oodles.

Love, Rachie Pachie

Hi Papa,

I have been thinking about you and Mom a lot....go figure. I have to admit, I'm having quite a time of being an orphan. I miss you guys so much! I'm sure in time it shall lessen in intensity, but for the time being it's pretty awful. You and Mom were really extraordinary people! Each in you own way, you were outstanding individuals. I can only hope to be half the people you were. A day doesn't go by that I don't feel great sadness at having lost you both. I sure hope you can see all that is going on with my life and Joey's. Little Joe always says that you didn't die, but are in heaven with Jesus. It's so adorable. Your intelligence was unequaled by anyone I have met or know. I am so proud to have been your kid. And I hope I do you proud. I love you and will always appreciate what you gave me. I ADORE YOU PAPA! GOD BLESS YOU!...Love, Rachie Pachie

For Lou's Family......

What a fun, kind, wonderful person Louis was. I worked with him at the College of DuPage where he displayed his knowledge of EVERYTHING and was always ready to discuss anything. Many times I'd see Louis in the ESL office at COD where Louis,Marty ,June and I would have one of our many varied conversations...about what???...who knows....but it would be fun and we'd all leave happy.
I'm sad about his death, but I have so many pleasant memories that in my sadness, I'd have to say.."Thanks, Louis..."

Unca' Louie: I will miss our "classes" of literature and engineering... and thank you for instilling in me your great love of texts and illuminated works. I recall my first purchase, searching though antique and 2nd hand shops and wanted so to share it w/you. Every time I find such a piece, I think of you and lovingly treasure the work. You will be greatly missed. Que Dios te bendiga! (Krissy)

Luis: My best memories of our time together were in our youth - '62 through '64 at Pitt. I pray the Lord your soul to keep and your guardian angel to lead you into the celestial mansion. Dios te bendiga y te guarde, la Virgen Maria te cuide y acompane, y el Espiritu Santo te guie. De tu cunada...

To Louis' family,

I am a former colleague of your Dad's from the College of Du Page and I want to express my condolences to you on your father's passing. His knowledge always made him an interesting person to listen and speak to, and his wit and dry humor made us laugh. He will always have a special place in my heart.

Papa,

What can I say? I sure hope you approved of the send off! I'm certain you'd give it an "A". I feel at such a loss without you here! You were such an important member of our household (in addition to our family) and it created this special bond between us.....above and beyond anything I could have hoped. You will surely be missed. And I might sign of for now with a quote from Carol Burnett....I'm so glad we had this time together...just to have a laugh or sing a song. Then we just get started and before you know it.....comes the time we have to say....so long! So long my beloved Daddy. You will never be forgotten....you will remain special and remarkable as always. I (we)love you oodles!!!

Papo, thank you for everything you've done for us. Without you we wouldn't be the people that we are. I'll miss your intelligence and wit, our reading discussions and crossword puzzle competitions. I love you very much. Be happy. Love, tu primogenita, Esty
