Dear Katie and family,
My husband Jim and I Peggy would like to express to you our sorrow and grief of the loss of such a wonderful man. He was my brother-in-law and i found him to be a very generous ,kind and intelligent man.unfortunately we were not notified of lous passing until after the burial and for that i'm heartily sorry. When last we talked he spoke of his great love for your mom and the devastation of her passing. Now they are reunited forever. He also spoke of his deep love for you and how proud he was of you. Please accept our most sincere condolences on your tragic loss. Please feel free to contact if ther is anything we can due to help you.

Katie and Family,
Lou was a great guy. I was totally shocked to hear that he died. Just a couple of weeks ago he was giving me an update on Katie and their plans. He was so excited and so looking forward to seeing her again. I feel so bad that I didn't hear about his death until after he was buried. My special condolences to Robert as well. Lou was so attentive to him that I am sure Robert will miss him greatly.
Please be assured of my prayers. Lou will not be forgotten.
Katie, I hope we can stay in touch.
Love,
Sister Kathleen McClelland, RSM

St.Cajetan's Parish lost its guardian angel in Lou. Indicative of this great
man's compassion and impact on people, I heard about his death from a crying Lucy Allen 92 years old. She had just received the latest of many
plants Lou had sent her at Smith Village. I passed on the devastating news about Lou to Billy, a poor man
in our parish with partial C.P. He cried at the news for Lou had always been so kind to him and he said the last time he saw Lou, Lou was buying flowers at the florist for the people he worked with. Lou always took time to talk to everyone and
help all those in need.
All of us in the neighborhood are very, very upset at losing a man of
such great love for others. Our hearts and prayers to go out to his
children.
