DeRose, Louis P. age 89, beloved husband of the late Genevieve (nee Villari), loving father of Elaine (the late George) Wegman, Cathleen Tomaras, Patricia (William) Posvic, and Louis M. (Anita) DeRose; fond grandfather of Mary Carol, Jean Marie, Vicki Gen, Mark, Angela, Charles, Michael, Matthew and Timothy; great-grandfather of eight; dear brother of Carmella (the late Dan) DeLeo, Anne (Ralph) Treccia, Yolanda (Jerry) Lullo, Eda (the late Marvin) Jett, the late Anthony (Sylvia) and Ralph (Barbara) DeRose. Visitation Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Visitation Saturday, 9 a.m. until time of funeral mass 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Residence 1400 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, IL, 60563. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. I was so sadden by the loss of your Father. He was a great neighbor and friend. Along with your Mom, they were a great couple. Sorry for your loss and may the the Cubs win!!!!

To the Derose Family, I am sorry to hear the passing of Lou. He was a great neighbor and friend along with Gen. They in turn were a great couple that I'll alway remember. I hope the Cubs will win this year. God will keep them safe.
