I worked with Lou at GSA for many years. There wasn't a person that knew him that didn't love him. He made anywhere he was a better place. My deepest and most sincere sympathy to his children. He was a wonderful man.

My sincerest condolances to the Cantone family,Lou was my commanding officer in Area #1 Burglary section,I have never worked for a finer man, he had great leadership skills and was a great friend to all of us "dicks", when he retired we all chipped in for a set of bagpipes which he swore was invented by the italians, I believe it!!

Lou, you, I and the rest of the guys have been together almost three years from the Normandy Beaches through the Battle of the Bulge and on to the Philippines. We were a great family. I for one will always remember our friendship, your honesty and character. I'm so pleased that a few of us coaxed and prodded you to get that Company History completed. Now that its done your work will always be there to remember. A final salute to you my friend, go and join your beloved Marge. She's waiting!

Dear Cantone Family,
I didn't know Lou well, I think that I can only remember meeting him once, maybe twice. I know that he was a good man though and that you will each have great memories to carry forward and perhaps a few sad ones too. Lou will live on in the memories of his children and those who knew and loved him.

My deepesy sympathy to all of my cousins for the loss of your dad. I am glad I got the chance to know Uncle Lou, especially over these past 8 years. As you know, my kids, Andi and AJ thought the world of him. Big Tom Kuzma enjoyed the police stories! I always enjoyed phone conversations most because his voice was so much like my dad's and that was very comforting. I'll miss that! What a kind and caring guy he was. And boy the stories he could tell!!! May fond memories get you through this difficult time and you are in my thoughts and prayers always. Know that he's up in heaven with the rest of the family...one more angel to watch over us! Much love to you all!

Dear Cantone family, I was truly saddened to hear of Lou passing away. He was not only a great police officer, but a great leader. I had the privilage to work with Lou and he was truely an amazing man. He thought ahead of the bad guys and taught me a lot of tricks of the trade. Lou knew every hoodlum in the State and they all feared him.
I know how much he thought of his family and how much you all ment to him. His family was his life and he often talked about you.
When he was promoted to Lt I was a Sgt in the 3rd District and had the privilage again to work with him for a short period of time.
He and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Lou Cantone was one of the best, and most loyal, partners a guy could ever have. No Question! I will miss him and the stories we could tell about the track. A great friend and stand-up person who was always professional. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. "Louie" will RIP with his loved one now and this world has lost a brave soldier and cop.
