Repchak, Lorraine A.

Lorraine A. Repchak, 92, passed away May 19, 2022. Born and raised in Chicago, later she moved to Midlothian, Hillside, and then later, Lemont. Lorraine always liked to laugh and joke around in her younger days. She liked roller skating, bowling up until her 70's, and when her husband George was still living, she enjoyed doing yardwork together. Lorraine worked as a secretary form many years for the law practice of Geses & Tobin & Grocerland Coop. She was also a past member of the Lemont V.F.W. and American Legion in Lockport.

Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, George Repchak Jr. and her first husband, Robert Albrecht; her parents, Vincent and Agnes Bagrowski; and a sister, Phyllis Bagrowski.

Lorraine is survived by numerous cousins, and her dear friends, Dolores Meyers and Sue Luevano.

The family would like to thank Lightways Hospice and her caregiver Maria for the outstanding care Lorraine received. Visitation Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 9 – 10 a.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Prayer service at 10 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Alphonsus Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
