It seems like only yesterday. I will always remember Lorraine as a extraordinarily caring and generous woman, a wonderful mother to her children and a friend to all. Although I live far away, whenever I would visit Louis, Lorraine welcomed me as though I were part of the family. This will be my lasting memory of her. And whenever Louis and I spoke by phone, we would always ask about and share stories about our mothers, with great pride. I know only too well how it feels to lose a parent who is loved so much by so many and I am deeply saddened by your (our) loss. Hold on to your loving memories of this wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Mrs. Goldman was a long time supporter of the Winnetka Community House. Every year she would faithfully send in a donation. On behalf of the Board of Governors and Staff please accept our condolences. Her support was appreciated and she will be missed.

Lorraine was a good friend to my grandfather, Herbert Kirchheimer, I'm sure that her loss will be felt for years within the family. The best legacy a person can have is family and their memories of the wonderful times that you all spent together. Hold on to those memories and be blessed for all your wonderful years together.

Lorraine was a wonderful and devoted supporter of the Friends of Cong. Bene Shalom of the Deaf. We will always remember her many years of hard work as the treasurer of the Friends, putting in countless hours to make sure we had the necessary funds to exist. She was a very strong proponent of helping the deaf achieve equal access to their Jewish heritage. She was an invaluable, founding member of the Friends Group. She was a strong, smart business woman. You could always count on her to be tough, but fair. We will all miss her very much and extend our sympathies to her loving family. Love, Rabbi Doug & Peggy Goldhamer
