Ciechanowski, Lorraine M. Age 85, of Lansing passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Loving sister of Florence (the late AI) Kropiewnicki, Alice (the late Frank) Jirmasek, and brother Eugene of San Diego, CA; devoted Godmother of Karen Bridgeman. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, Casimir and Anna; sisters, Virginia (the late Edward) Bojanowski; Sabina (the late Joseph) Machalski; Irene (the late Walter) Kreczmer; and brothers, Dominic (the late Celia); Arthur (the late Rose); Raymond (the late Celia); and Walter (the late Helen). Visitation, Tuesday, April 12, 3 - 9 p.m. Funeral, Wednesday, April 13, (prayers at 9:15 a.m.) from Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road (154th Street), Calumet City, to St. Andrew The Apostle Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Active member of Apostleship of Prayers (Prayers begin at 3:30 p.m.), St. Andrew Ladies Rosary Confraternity, St. Rita, Carmelites, Sunshine Club and Telephone Pioneers.
