Loriann Minardi Obituary

Although I don't know the circumstances, I just found out about Loriann and I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I worked with her at Maggie Moo's Ice Cream for 2 years (and then Phil) and went to high school with her. Although I only spent a small amount of time with her, I always enjoyed being around her. In fact, I was looking her up and that's how I found out. She was such a nice, cute girl and you have my condolences.

I got a message from your sister today, & then I see this in my mailbox....You would be so proud of her. She is one of the strongest, most loving, commited, hard working mother/ wives I've ever known.... She carries you with her ALWAYS... And your niece, well she's one in a billion. A smile that can light up the sky!! YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. I bet allot of Jens strength comes from the memories of of time spent with you..... Xo

Loriann, sweet Loriann. I met you working at Sunrise and found that we have so much in common when it comes to the love of animals. I enjoyed working with you on those overnights, and hearing about your triumphs through nursing school. You are such a caring individual. You are missed. The other night I was in Cuba Marsh taking photographs of the moon and it was so bright and beautiful, just like you will always be in my heart. :) I love you.. Dear Minardi Family,

I cannot imagine what a difficult time this must be for all of you. Lori and I had been friends since we were roommates at Michigan State. I am so grateful to have known her and that we kept in contact over the years. I only wish we could have seen each other more often, but I will take the memories I have of her and cherish them always. She was such a rock to everyone. Showed such compassion to others, and was such a great friend. She lived with dedication, determination, conviction, and love for others. She always made sure to check in on me and give advice and a listening ear over the years. I will miss seeing her and that smile. She worked so hard for what she accomplished, and knew what she wanted. She must have been called upon for some greater good in Heaven. I just want you all to know that she loved you very much and she was very proud of your accomplishments, and to have you in her life. I am saddened that she had to depart this world so soon, but I will always remember my dear friend, and carry her with me always. My thoughts and prayers for you all during this time.

I was a classmate of Loriann's during Nursing School. She was such a sweet, caring, determined and beautiful girl. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many of her classmates from Harper College. We were all shocked and saddened to hear of her sudden passing. Loriann was my former co-worker at Sunrise. What I remember most about her was the inherent protective "mama bear" instinct that she exhibited when it came to the care and well-being of "her" residents and their families. She had a maturity and wisdom that well surpassed her age and I am greatly saddened by her sudden passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that her life touched the lives of many people who knew her but are only strangers to you; her family and friends. Speaking as one of those "strangers", I am a better person for having known and worked alongside her. She "loved to love" and that love will continue to live on and bless all of us who were fortunate enough to have experienced it.

loriann was a co-worker with me at sunrise, i was so sad to here of the tragic loss of this sweet girl! my prayers are with her friends and family...heaven needed this beautiful angel.

Loriann was such a delight to have in my pediatric clinical last spring. She exhibited nothing but compassionate care for her pediatric patients and I knew that she was going to be a great nurse. My heart aches for you and many thoughts and prayers go out to Loriann's family and friends.

Lori completed her capstone with us at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. She was a kind, compassionate person who was going to be an amazing nurse. I still have the nurse's hat she made me on my desk. May she rest in peace and may your hearts find calm in this storm.
