Podhajski, Loretta S. (nee Wlodarski), age 81, loving wife of 26 years to the late Raymond Simons (1977) and second husband of 24 1/2 years, Felix Podhajski (2005), loving mother of Robert (Barbara) Simons and Lorayne (John) Wright, wonderful grandmother of Richard (Emily) Simons, Brian (fiancee, Brenda Kyler) Simons, Beth and Kim Simons, Tom, Kevin and Joe Wright, great-grandmother of Tyler and Maddie Simons, sister-in-law of Lil (late Edwin) Wlodarski and Elaine (late Henry) Wlodarski. Member of the Senior Polka Association, and former member of St. Monica Parish in Chicago and Queen of Martyrs Church in Evergreen Park. She was an avid White Sox fan. Funeral Services for Loretta S. Podhajski will be Monday, January 21, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet to the Church of St. Jude, Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Church of St. Jude Building Fund would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. For information: (815) 741-5500 or www.fredcdames.com

John, Lorayne, Tom, Kevin & Joe,

We were so sad to hear the news of the loss of your Mom and Grandma. We always enjoyed talking to her at your family events. She will be in our thoughts and prayers and of course we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers as well.
