My dear friend Lonnie may the Lord greet you with open arms as we all have throughout the years. I will miss your smile, humor and your music. It was special to hear you sing my song "I got to be me" as a favor even though you did not like to sing it, but sang it as marvelous as you always sang your songs. I will miss you and cherish the memories of the many times we worked together keeping the music alive. May you rest in peace with the Lord and gift him with your talents.

Lonnie...

May you rest in peace with our Lord and Savior.

My only regret is that I did not find more time to spend with you in the last couple of years. I am now sorry for this my good friend. Please forgive me.

You have touched so many lives with your music and your good heart. May the Angels in Heaven welcome your voice into their chorus... and may the Heavens rejoice, for Lonnie Parlor has come home.

Rest easy my brother... see you when my time comes.

I will greatly miss you.

From your friend Victor, Victor.
