David, Lois Ellen 79, lifelong Chicago resident and proud graduate of Marshall High School, passed away peacefully August 23, 2009. Beloved wife of 56 years to Jay M. David, J.D., cherished mother of Howard (Wendy) David of Portland, OR and Robert (Susan) David of Pleasanton, CA, very proud and loving grandmother of Ben, Laura Beth, Emily Ann and Rachel David, sister of Herbert Bolshon. Services have been held.

I would like to express my sympathy for the loss of your dear family member. I didn't know Mrs. David, but I do know the pain of losing a parent. I draw comfort from the bible and the hope that our heavenly father gives us, where it says that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope your family find encouragement from this text.
