Smith, Lloyd E. 83, of Westchester, formerly of Berwyn, beloved husband of 60 years to Myrtle L. (nee Berns), loving father of his twin daughters, Sharon (Anthony) Schiavone and Karen (Ralph) Sacco, proud grandfather of nine and also great-grandfather of nine, survived by his youngest sister, Frances Smith of Plattsburgh, NY, preceded in death by seven older siblings. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and proudly served in the Pacific Theatre aboard the USS Hornet. Visitation 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Saturday, at Divine Providence Church, Westchester.
