It has been one year ago today
That God came and took you away
To a better life and a better place
Far away from this disgrace.

I know that you are still thought of
With a smile and so much love
By the many lives that you so touched
Wonder if you knew how much.

I wonder if your soul is flying high
Somewhere in that bright blue sky
Looking down on all of us
For a special reason or just because.

Many things still remind us though
You cannot come back after you go
But God still gives us faith and hope
Strength and courage to help us cope.

I did not know what words to say
About your death one year ago today
Just that I miss you still...

Like memories sewn together
Your soul is part of life forever
Memories of all your family and friends
Death cannot take for love never ends.

I hope you are happy wherever you are now
I hope these words can reach you somehow.
One year ago God came and took you away
But in our hearts you still forever stay.

The memories we have of you are the most precious!!! Love you

November 18, 2011

God looked around his garden and He found an empty place,
He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face,
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful he always takes the best,
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never get well on earth again,
God saw you getting weaker so he did what He thought best,
He came and stood beside you and He whispered "Come to rest."
We could not understand it, no matter how we tried,
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died
I will always remember you my dear friend. I miss you everyday. I wish you a wonderful holiday in heaven.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

There are many people who have influenced my life but the person who has influenced my life more
significantly than the others in my Aunt Sasa. She has made me the strong person that I am today. Lisa was very bold & would tell you how it was. She was always there for me when I needed her. She was more like a Mother to me than an aunt. My aunt is to me the greatest person in this world, one of a kind and one in a million. She had the biggest heart with the most caring touch, which will live on with so many of us.She has played a big in role in shaping my personality. I deeply admire her and her qualities. My aunt had been an important person in my life since I was born. She helped me a lot through rough times and always was there if I needed anything. She was always nice to me and was a big part in my success at anything I was doing.
Her soul is made of pure love, yet she's worth way more than gold. White gold that is. Lisa wasnt a fan of gold. Everything was white gold or Silver. In my eyes, she will always be the most beautiful person to walk the earth. I remember the day she came home from hospital & we went right over to cut her hair off. She was even more beautiful than ever. Lisa rocked the bald look! There is no one that compares to her, no one that even comes close. The memories I will forever cherish, for they are priceless. Lisa loved to cook. She would always cook for an army. At Pa's party I asked her just to bring couple pounds of potato salad & she showed up with 10lbs! She adored Teddy A.K.A her Wallurus. They were the perfect pair; definitely fit the phrase Two Peas in a pod. They were best friends. I would be out with Lisa & she would always call Ted to make sure he was up in time or have to be home to pack his lunch. Lisa would always make sure he had the best. I do have to mention- Please dont come to haunt Ashley & me for giving you those suppositories. To make up we always had you oiled up & smelling good. I even gave in to painting your toe nails. I'll always remember the name you gave your walker Your green Lamborghini.
For all she has done, I will forever be thankful, and my love for her only grows more with each day that
passes. On a high pedestal is where I hold her, for I admire her so much more than she knows.
Having her part of my life is the greatest gift of all, I'm sorry you were taken so early however I'm thankful you were here to meet Angela, Michaela & Addy they were your little babies. I'm sure you were in the room; probably laughing down at us, when the chaplain said a prayer. Michaela rang your wind chime & the chaplain said when you hear the sound of a bell an angel just got her wings. So I know you have your wings. You loved your Angels & I know Angela, Michaela & Addy will have you as their guardian angel.
I will always remember Our Girls Weekend to Blue Chip. We had so much fun especially Friday night. You were so a trooper. You hung with us all night we even had you dancing the Cupid Shuffle & Electric Slide. Or Saturday at the winery you yelled at me for hitting the top of your head. Im sure your laughing about this because our untold memories will be treasured forever!
Unique, giving, helpful, loving, caring, and kind, is what defines her. She definitely loved her colors. You would never match but bright bold colors were you. In going through the pictures your hair color changed so many times, your green hair for the Irish parade was my favorite!! Lisa was not only one of my favorite Aunt but she is my role model, and to be like her, would be my only wish. Growing up I thought she was so cool. But would hate going shopping with her because she would be in the stores for hours!! I do know Wal-Mart stock will plumped. As she loved her Wal-Mart & Sams Club!!
I can never thank my Aunt enough for what she has given me. The most important thing in a illness is never to lose heart. My aunt's life is a great example to never give up. She put up a great fight! My aunt is a very important part of my life and who I am. I hope I can be as good as her; caring, understanding, kind, determined and strong.
As I said in the beginning, I miss her and always will.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Lisa-

Every time that I smile, or sigh I think of your face, and a tear escapes my eye. You were my best friend, and that's not all you were, You were also my mom. I would have give anything to have you back, But I know now that it was meant to be, for you are still watching from up there, and I know you're watching me. I don’t think that you ever imagined how much pain I would be in once you were gone, Words cannot express the amount of emotions that have come with trying to let you go. Every day has been a struggle. I miss your voice. I miss your smile, Your eyes, your touch Your smell, your phone calls and your comforting ways. God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best
never a day goes by that you’re not in my heart and my soul.

Until I see you again,
I am always missing you so incredibly much!

Love Always,

Throughout the years, you’ve been a friend & even called
you myu second mother.
Your smile has warmed my days
Upon your strength, I can depend
You’re beside me, always
You fill my life with endless love
With joy, beyond compare
A blessing given from above
I’m grateful you are there.

I may not always find the words
I’m yearning to express
But my feelings need to be heard
So, now I will confess
You’ve claimed a special place inside
No one could ever touch
My gratitude can’t be denied
I need you, oh, so much.

My dearest Aunt, I hope you see
The difference you have made
You mean the entire world to me
And I would never trade
The special moments we have spent
From my life’s very start
You are a treasure, Heaven sent
Thank you, with all my heart.
I know you have your wings... So be Michaela's
& Addys Gaurdian angel.
I will treasure our memories.
I will always Miss You!!!
