Lisa Klitzky Obituary

Marlowe, David, Julie, Sheila, Marlene, and all of Lisa's extended family,



My most distinct memory of Lisa is how animated she would get when she would talk about DMB, and how she would try to get Marlowe to become an equally raving fan. The love and the banter were a neat thing to watch. Her joy for life was infectious and her laughter contagious, and days she happened to be in the office were brighter just because she was there.



I can only pray that the millions of happy memories of Lisa that you treasure in your heart will help you through the difficult times. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Lisa through my good friend Julie, and I grieve for all of your grief. Julie, I found myself thinking about you literally hours before a friend of a friend here in D.C. told me your sister was sick. Your laugh has always been contagious, and I hope you are able to find it in these trying times and light up your parents' faces they way you always lit up mine.

I don't know what to write - I am speechless - I keep retyping. I am so terribly saddened by this news. To all those who knew her much better than I, you are in my thoughts.

All of us at Bengard want to express our sincere condolences for your loss. There is nothing more tragic than the death of a young person with the best part of her life to come. Our thoughts are with your family during this period of hardship. Take solace in the fact that her suffering has ended.

I didn't know Lisa well and haven't seen her in years, but for some reason can vividly picture her walking with a big smile through the hallways of Stevenson High School. My deepest condolences to the Klitzky's and all Lisa's friends and family.

Lisa was a classmate of mine through Junior high and Highschool. I remember her infectious laughter and friendly smile and the way she was very sweet to everyone who came in contact with her. We are deeply saddened to hear of your daughter's death. Our family has prayed for her while she was sick and we pray for her now and we also pray for your family during these painful times. I personally did not know her, my wife Marilou said that she was a very happy and courageous young girl full of life. My son Michael knew her from High School and said that she was liked by everyone with a fantastic personality. If we can do anything, anthing at all. We live right across the street from you. Please do not hesitate. Even just to talk. They say that there is a camaraderie between people who have lost children. The pain is so great that there are no words to describe it. We lost two children to cancer (Amy & Kristine (11 & 18), in 1985 and 1988. God Bless, Marilou, Rich, Laura, Richard Jr., Michael & our two angels Kristine and Amy.

I will always remember Lisa as one of the nicest, friendliest, most talented people I was fortunate enough to meet at college. My sincere and deepest condolences to the Klitzky family.

My thoughts are with you! As I didn't know Lisa I have no doubt that she made an incredible impact in the lives of many (and it shows through the words written in this guest book). Try and go through your moments with the knowledge that the love you have for Lisa will never leave but only strengthen. Show the love you have for her to all you encounter.

I am thankful for the few days I was able to spend with Lisa, Julie, and David on their ski trip one winter. I enjoyed sharing in their fun and I could see the special relationship David had with both his beautiful daughters.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Lisa and spending so much time with her while at UW. She is the nicest, sweetest, good natured person I have yet to meet. She simply is "As good as it gets". I cannot say how sorry I am to hear of Lisa's passing...she was a sweet and wonderful person, that lit up a room when she was in it. I was a friend of Lisa's from Wisconsin and remember meeting Lisa for the first time. Lisa was there for everyone and always had a kind word to say. She had the sweetest smile and laugh. She always made sure people felt important and had the kindest heart. I feel so sorry for her loss and know that she will be deeply missed. My condolences go out to all of her family and friends.

I feel so blessed to have had that special & wonderful time with Lisa, Julie, David and my daughter in Wyoming. A time that will always be remembered with love and remain in deep in my heart.

I had known Lisa since Junior High school and she was always friendly and outgoing. I enjoyed the time I spent with her in classes and during extracurricular activities. I extend my condolences to all of Lisa's family and friends. She will be missed.

I met Lisa in college and I am glad that I had the opportunity to know her. I'll always remember her honesty and her ability to make people laugh. My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.

Your years were way to short!!!!

I miss Lisa terribly, but I try to remember the fun, not dwell on the sadness. Lisa would've been the one holding us and trying to cheer us up. She was loving and was in turned loved by more than she'll ever know. A light so bright cannot die, it will be carried on within us all. My love goes out to all of Lisa's family and friends.

I am , as we all are, lucky to have known Lisa. She was and will always be sunshine in our lives.



My condolences go to the entire Klitzky family and all of us who suffer from this loss. And to Dani who kept us informed throughout this tragic event. You were a great friend. May Lisa's light shine on all of us.

One can never express enough at a time like this. I knew Lisa from work at Grayscale. She was the heart of the place; the only shining spot. The hours were long, the work hard and the experience not always pleasant. But, Lisa made it fun. Her infectious joy crept into the darkness and made it tolerable, even pleasant. We are all better people for knowing her.

Some of my most fond memories of high school include Lisa's kind heart and radiant smile.
