WHEELER--Linda Barcelona Wheeler, age 76, suddenly, beloved wife of 55 years to Richard G. Wheeler. Loving mother of Jonathan (Michele) Wheeler, Nicole (Ryan) Brunette and Timothy (Robin) Wheeler. Cherished Nana of Molly, Michael, Lauren, Grayson, Avery and Owen. Devoted daughter of the late Frank and Judith Barcelona. Dear sister of Diane (Steve) Frame, Terri Ulstrup, Mary Ellen McFee, Debra (Steve) Olson, James (Christine) Barcelona, Christopher (Nora) Barcelona, Daniel Barcelona and the late Jeffrey Barcelona. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, February 3, 2025 from 3-8 p.m.
Funeral Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Bede Venerable Church, 8200 S. Kostner Ave., Chicago, IL. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment private.

To Rick and Linda`s entire family. My deepest condolences. I live next-door to them for many years and had many memories of speaking with her and always getting a smile and wave from the car as they came and went. Loved receiving a tin of amazing baked goodies every Christmas. Such a sad and sudden loss.

I met Linda is high school and we remained best friends for 60 years. I loved her dearly and she ended every phone call we had with the words "I love you Pats". I guess you could say she was the sister I never had. We shared so much and I send my sincere condolences to the Barcelona/Wheeler families.
