Linda was an amazing woman...always so warm and caring. Cedar Crest will not seem the same without her. I'll miss her laugh rolling down the halls of the TCC. "Theatre sisters by and by..."

I haven't seen Linda since I moved away from Allentown but she was very much an inspiration to me as a teacher, director, friend, and "partner in crime" in dinner theater and other shows. Such a fun person, great actress, so caring and always smiling. We shared some great times together. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

My mother called me in New Jersey and told me Fech was no longer with us...my heart sank. It was she who made my transfer to Emmaus High School at the end of my Junior year palatable. Fech offered friendship and laughter that gave me a new life and hope. We've talked on the phone since, but never had a chance to get together. I'm sorry I never met you Mark or Bobby. Please accept my condolences, and to Mr. Fechnay and Bibs I send my heartfelt thoughts and prayers as well.

There are people that come and go in our lives. Some make lasting impressions. Linda definately made a lasting impression on me. She had a beautiful personality always had a smile. I met linda at ceder crest college, where she taught my Ethical life class. Linda truly touched my heart and soul. Her devotion to her students was very obvious. I will always remember her for the wonderful person she was. An angel has gone to heaven to watch over us. I pray that God bring comfort to the Baas family.

My heart and all my love go out to Linda's family. I had the honor of knowing her as a director, a teacher, an actor, and most importantly a friend. Linda always guided and encouraged others in helping them follow their dreams. Her creative spirit, her bright smile and her amazingly huge and strong heart will be missed. She was a person who touched my life in so many wonderful ways and will live on in my heart forever. Robyn Puchyr-Brady '95

Words cannot express how much I will miss my best friend. We laughed so much we tired each other out! We joked, we shopped, we worked together and so much more. So many wonderful memories of this very dear person. I will miss Linda and our very idea of one day going to Florida to be the "Golden Girls." My heartfeld sympathy to the Bass and Fechnay family. Linda will always be in my heart forever.

I was fortunate enough to work with her in the theater as well as the classroom and her enthusiasm was always welcome and encouraged. A great woman, teacher and actress. Linda embodied the spirit and culture of the Cedar Crest community. Her dedication to the performing arts at Cedar Crest and the surrounding Lehigh Valley area cannot be matched. She was always friendly, supportive, and energetic. A wonderful and memorable woman, I'm going to miss her a lot.

Linda Baas was an incredible inspiration to the Cedar Crest College community throughout her years of service. Her kindness, personality, sense of humour will certainly be missed, but her memory and dedication to the women of Cedar Crest will always be cherished and passed on by those whom she touched.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. I knew Linda in high school but really got to know her when we were lifeguards together at Emmaus Community Park. What a fun summer we shared! She made me laugh so often and became an integral part of that summer and the memories of teenage times gratefully created and carried with us. I saw her often since and we'd smile, laugh and reminesce. She was very, very special.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was a dear and spirited person with a great creative soul and a huge heart which revealed itself thru her laughter. I have wonderful memories of days full of "drama" with her at CCC.

My deepest sympathy to Linda's family, friends and every person whose life she touched. Linda had a spirit that inspired people to succeed beyond their wildest expectations while she guided them with her supportive nature. Linda was so enthusiastic about her profession she continually encouraged me (and I'm sure others), to become more involved in creative endeavors. She will be sorely missed.

Sincerely,

What more can be said about this great lady?! She was the epitomy of class and culture! I knew her from many different angles: teacher, director, actress and just plain fun person to be with. She taught our daughter way back when in StageDoorWorkshop, and all the kids loved her. She had such a graceful way of moving, always so smooth and refined. I am very sorry to see another icon of Community theatre leave this stage to take her place upon another Stage.

My heart goes out to Mark and Robert. tjd

Linda was beloved by all who were privileged enough to be able to work with her. I will never forget the direction and friendship I found in her when I was at Cedar Crest. She was a bright light in dims times, her always present smile was enough to cheer anyone on the cloudiest of days. Linda will always remain in my heart as a reminder and a role model for the woman I'd like to someday become.

Who could forget Linda’s laugh? No one! It pealed forth often, causing others to get over their serious selves and to focus on the joy and humor in life. And who can forget her passion for theatre and how she nourished that passion in others? How about her talent? Not one to be typecast, she played a variety of roles and was convincing in all of them. In addition to those she brought to life on stage, she also played the roles of wife, mother, daughter, teacher, colleague and friend with gusto. Her fans mourn her passing from the earthly stage and look forward to her debut in the role of one of God’s most high-spirited angels.

My sympathy to you at this sad time. Linda was a teacher for the ILR, Institute for Learning in Retirement, at Cedar Crest where I was enrolled in several of her classes. She was so warm and interesting. She had a core group of actors, myself included, that went through several semesters of her classes. Linda will be missed!

I worked with Linda in a dinner theater show years ago. A very talented lady. It was a joy to watch her bring life to her character as well as share the stage with her. A true theatrical light has dimmed.

My best friend through the years. I will miss you so much...you were my inspiration so many times. We really connected as artists and created so much together.....the many sessions we spent together teaching pre-schoolers, coaching young kids, and entertaining at birthday parties. Not having you creates an empty spot in me. We never completed our big project.... With much love to Mark, Bobby, Don, and Bibs.......your friend Cynthia
