Lillian B. Nemec, nee Dezort, age 92, longtime resident of Berwyn. Lillian was born July 10, 1932 and passed away May 8, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Nemec, dear sister of Frank J. and Robert A. Dezort, cherished aunt of Ann (Robert) Delasky, Sharon Ringersma, Kathy (Rex) Hilgart, Teri Dezort, Frank III (Tina) Dezort and great-aunt to many great nieces and nephews. Lillian and Donald were married on May 16, 1953 and spent 56 wonderful years together until Donald passed away in 2009. Lillian spent 29 years working as an Executive Secretary for CECO. She was also a CSA member, a member of the Friends of the Bohemian National Cemetery and a beloved attendee of many Czech events. Lillian was known for her big heart, bright smile and her love of people. She never passed up a good conversation and found joy in connecting with others. Her deep appreciation for food, especially bakery, was another expression of her warmth. She loved sharing meals and stories in equal measure. Visitation Friday, May 16, 9:00am until time of Funeral Service, 12:00pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside, IL 60546. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
